Join a dynamic team where you’ll provide essential engineering services supporting either cellular manufacturing or logistical operations. This co-op is a hands-on opportunity to gain meaningful experience while delivering impactful results.
How You'll Create ImpactYour primary responsibility will be to support the deployment of Wonderware SCADA within a manufacturing cell. This includes:
Converting existing documentationExecuting equipment validationsCollaborating with IT and Operations to revise proceduresCreating new reference materials to train Operations personnelAdditional responsibilities include participating as part of the Cellular Operations team:
Supporting investigations and resolutions for non-conformancesDeveloping and executing equipment and process validationsManaging prototype order manufacturing for future validationsLeading at least one cost-reduction project within the manufacturing cellApplying Six Sigma principles and using statistical methods via MinitabWhat Makes You Stand Out Working knowledge or formal education in drafting standards and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)Proven ability to take ownership of complex, high-scope projectsStrong time management and prioritization skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsYour Background Actively enrolled in an academic program for the full duration of the assignmentAvailable to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the co-op termAuthorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorshipSophomore status or higher pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical Engineering, or other related engineering scienceGPA of 3.0 or higher preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft ProjectExperience or coursework in Statistical Process Control; modeling software experience is a plusTravel Expectations None; optional opportunities may be available.EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability
