**What You Can Expect**
Join a dynamic team where you’ll provide essential engineering services supporting either cellular manufacturing or logistical operations. This co-op is a hands-on opportunity to gain meaningful experience while delivering impactful results.
**How You'll Create Impact**
Your primary responsibility will be to support the deployment of Wonderware SCADA within a manufacturing cell. This includes:
+ Converting existing documentation
+ Executing equipment validations
+ Collaborating with IT and Operations to revise procedures
+ Creating new reference materials to train Operations personnel
Additional responsibilities include participating as part of the Cellular Operations team:
+ Supporting investigations and resolutions for non-conformances
+ Developing and executing equipment and process validations
+ Managing prototype order manufacturing for future validations
+ Leading at least one cost-reduction project within the manufacturing cell
+ Applying Six Sigma principles and using statistical methods via Minitab
**What Makes You Stand Out**
+ Working knowledge or formal education in drafting standards and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)
+ Proven ability to take ownership of complex, high-scope projects
+ Strong time management and prioritization skills
+ Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
**Your Background**
+ Actively enrolled in an academic program for the full duration of the assignment
+ Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the co-op term
+ Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
+ Sophomore status or higher pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical Engineering, or other related engineering science
+ GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
+ Experience or coursework in Statistical Process Control; modeling software experience is a plus
