Program Details  

Start Date: October 1, 2025

Contract Duration: 1 year (Oct 2025 – Sept 2026)   

Work Format: Full time (40 hrs / week), onsite 5 days per week  

Location: Johannesburg

What we are looking for   

Valid Passport (valid through Sept 2026)  

Fluent in English

Open to travel – regionally and globally  

Proficiency in MS Office / O365

Strong communication, initiative, teamwork, and presentation skills  

1 internship completed (1 to 2 years of experience)

Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering (or similar)

What You’ll Work On:

Learn the ins and outs of Caterpillar’s business, customers and solutions   

Solve real business challenges and drive real-world projects

Collaborate with experts across product support, strategy, digital, marketing, and sales  

Work on strategic assessments that drive innovation and growth   

Build confidence, clarity and credibility in a supportive global team

What you have:

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.  

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.    

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.  

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
