2025 Asset and Wealth Management Challenge - Singapore

Asset & Wealth management is more than just crunching numbers. You'll have exposure working with clients from global financial intermediaries, sovereign wealth funds, central banks and to some of the world's wealthiest individuals and families. You'll use your talent and creativity to develop solutions to help these clients grow their wealth.

The J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management Challenge (AWMC) puts you right in the middle of the action. AWMC offers students a fun, interactive and professional learning experience whilst getting a unique first-hand experience of the firm’s culture. Through a hypothetical case study, you'll find out what it takes to work as an Analyst in Asset Management or Private Banking.

The competition is only open to:

Students enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree Program graduating between December 2026 and July 2027 in Universities located in Singapore, Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, China or Taiwan, China.
OR Students enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree Program graduating between December 2026 and July 2027 with a valid Right-To-Work (Citizen/Permanent Residence only) in Singapore, Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, China or Taiwan, China. Students should apply to only one location according to their home or study location.

Team Composition

Students must register in teams of strictly 4 members for the same location. Once a team has submitted their application, no modification in its composition will be allowed. In the event that the team is reduced to less than 4 Team Members, the team shall be disqualified.

Application Process

Submit your application through our Careers Portal – each Team Member must individually register on the J.P. Morgan website with a CV/Resume uploaded; as such, there should be four individual applications for each team. Please ensure and check that all 4 team member’s graduation date on your application falls between December 2026 and July 2027. All 4 team members should also agree on a team leader and team name before registering as that will be asked during your application and we will use that to identify your team.

Upon successful registration after application closes, your team leader will be sent a copy of the Terms & Conditions document for the competition, where you will need to review and sign the form as a group. More instructions will be provided at a later stage. Failure to receive the necessary legal documents will result in automatic disqualification of the competition.

Competition Period

The Competition period is between August to mid-October 2025.

It will consist of written submissions and virtual presentations. The Competition will be held independently in each location with two phases – “First Round” and “Second Round”. Finalists of each location will then move on to compete in the Final Round.

Participants who perform well may have the opportunity to have their application prioritized for review in consideration for our upcoming summer internships in our Hong Kong, Singapore or Taipei offices.
