The purpose of this applicant pool is to gather applications from qualified candidates for the 2025/2026 school year. School sites and grade levels are unknown at this time. Job Description / Essential Elements:    Print    None Requirements / Qualifications

Required: Multiple Subject Credential including English Learner Authorization and one of the following: 1) At least 24 semester units of Early Childhood Education, and/or Childhood Development. (reflected on submitted transcripts) OR 2) Valid Child Development Teacher Permit issued by CTC. (must submit CTC copy of permit) Requires the completion of 6 or more semester units of early childhood education or child development course work. The Child Development Permit will be valid for 5 years and you will have to complete 105 hours of professional growth every 5 years in order to renew it. English Learner Authorization: (ELA1, ELAM, CLAD or CCSD/SDAIE) ** Note, any teacher who is or was assigned to teach TK, or a combination of kindergarten and TK, on or before July 1, 2015, is "grandfathered in" to teach TK without having to meet the additional unit requirement for TK teachers set forth in Education Code section 48000(g) (must include proof of assignment) **
