## **Data Analyst Intern - Japan Community Operations** ## **About the Role** Uber's **Community Operations** (CommOps) team is at the heart of delivering a world-class customer experience. We are looking for a **Data Analyst Intern** to drive insights and analytics that will enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall quality of Uber’s customer support operations. This role will involve deep-dive analyses, building dashboards, and developing data-driven solutions that improve support processes and drive strategic decision-making. ## **What You’ll Do** - **Analyze large datasets** to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities in Uber’s customer support operations. - **Conduct deep-dive analyses** to provide insights that improve support processes and customer experience. - **Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports** to track key performance metrics (e.g., CSAT, contact rates, resolution times). - **Collaborate with cross-functional teams** to enhance data-driven decision-making. - **Work closely with the CommOps team** to translate data findings into actionable recommendations. ## **What You’ll Need** - Currently pursuing or recently completed a **Bachelor’s or Master’s degree** in **Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field**. - Basic proficiency in **SQL** and experience with relational databases. - Familiarity with **data visualization tools** such as Tableau and Google Sheets. - Fluent in spoken and written **English and Japanese.** - Some experience with **Python, R, or Excel** for data manipulation is a plus. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. ## **Why Join Us?** - Hands-on experience in **data analytics** at a global tech company. - Exposure to **real-world business challenges** and the opportunity to make an impact. - Mentorship from experienced data analysts and operations professionals. - A dynamic, fast-paced work environment with opportunities for learning and growth. - Potential consideration for future full-time opportunities at Uber.
