Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Welders join metal parts using high heat application to form permanent bonds.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operating welding machine that feeds wire to bond materialsPlanning work by interpreting blueprintsDetermining welding position and type of metal to be fusedSelecting and setting up welding equipmentEnsuring welds meet standards and specificationsEmployees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures. Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Certificate or Associate degree in weldingMinimum 1 year experience in weldingKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Good mechanical aptitudeAbility to read blueprintsKnowledge of hand tools and power toolsGood communication skillsKnowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniquesSelf-motivated and detail-orientedTeam orientationCrane operation experience preferred, but not requiredForklift operation experience preferred, but not requiredADA Requirements:
