**Job Title:** Machine Operator **Pay Rate:** $18.00 – $20.00 per hour **Shift:** 1st Shift | 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM **Location:** Braselton, GA **Position Summary** The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating assigned machinery, including resistance welding machines, brake presses, and mechanical power presses, while ensuring production requirements are consistently met. The operator will also complete the Operator Maintenance Program (OMP) within the first 90 days and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Operate assigned machinery in accordance with safety and quality standards. + Complete the OMP for assigned machines within the first 90 days of employment. + Meet or exceed daily and weekly production goals. + Identify and correct unsafe or defective products. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. + Accurately complete required documentation, including process monitors and production tickets. + Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required. + Minimum of 1 year of related manufacturing or machine operation experience. + Ability to use personal protective equipment at all times. + Strong communication skills in English. + Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, counting, and tape measure usage. + Ability to read and follow safety and operating procedures. **Physical Demands** + Ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend, and climb ladders or equipment. + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted (average lifts are under 50 lbs.). **Work Environment** + Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. + Noise levels range from moderate to loud; hearing protection required. + Safety shoes and eye protection are mandatory. + Temperature range may vary from 0°F to 110°F.
