Production Floor Cleaner:   1st shift/ Danfoss
 The floor cleaner is responsible for the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of all floor surfaces on the production floor. This role ensures a clean working environment by removing debris, dust, oils, and other materials that could pose safety or quality risks. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and take pride in maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine floor cleaning duties across the production area, including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and vacuuming Operate industrial floor cleaning equipment such as auto scrubbers, walk-behind sweepers, and floor buffers Monitor and promptly clean up sills, oil drips, or material accumulation to maintain a hazard-free work area Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules in coordination with production and EHS teams Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with safety protocols Perform basic preventive maintenance checks on cleaning equipment and report malfunctions Adhere strictly to all Danfoss safety procedures, including use of PPE and lockout/tagout where applicable Collaborate with the other maintenance or production personnel as needed to support plant cleanliness and readinessQualifications: High School Diploma or GED Experience in industrial or manufacturing cleaning is a plus Ability to operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment safely and effectively Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks while standing or walking for extended periods Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Dependable and punctual and strong work ethic Commitment to safety and quality standardsWork Environment: Work is performed exclusively on the production floor in an active manufacturing environment Exposure to machinery, forklifts, hydraulic fluids, and varying temperatures
