SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the daily clerical operations within a Tyson-owned Shipping Department. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing all documentation, inquiries, communications, and issue resolution related to the accurate processing of EXPORT shipments. The role also involves coordinating freight billing for outbound protein deliveries, overseeing freezer inventory audits, and generating daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports to support effective inventory management and reconciliation. Ensuring the timely and accurate execution of all shipping tasks is a core function of this role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of office or administrative experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer functions is required, including the ability to create simple letters, spreadsheets, and inventory queries. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP GUI, and USDA FSIS PHIS systems is essential for success in this role.
