Position Summary:
Under the minimal supervision of the manager and in collaboration with the client and other team members, the incumbent performs detailed, routine clerical work of an analytical and client-service nature. Typical duties include day-to-day communications with clients regarding processed data, system functionality, and file maintenance questions and issues. The incumbent will coordinate the flow of data information between the client, Inmar Reverse Logistics and the vendor. The incumbent should be knowledgeable in all Company services and reporting capabilities, and be able to use the system independently.

Position Summary:
Under minimal supervision of a manager and in collaboration with the client and other team members, the Research Clerk performs detailed, routine clerical work of an analytical and client-service nature. Typical duties include day-to-day communications with clients regarding processed data, system functionality, and file maintenance questions and issues.

The role coordinates the flow of data information between the client, Inmar and the vendor. The incumbent should be knowledgeable in all company services and reporting capabilities and be able to use the system independently.

Primary Accountabilities:

OperationalPrioritize work items according to client service-level agreement (SLA) requirementsIssue Return Authorizations (RAs) for product returns to manufacturer clients in a timely and accurate mannerManage inbound returns to prioritize RA issuance based on customer requirementsAdhere to prescribed routines and practices; maintain detailed, accurate files and recordsWork efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruptionPrioritize and manage multiple tasks requiring extensive and timely follow up and completionProceed independently and carry out assignments to completion with minimal instructionCommunicate with installation and programming staff to resolve data issuesReceive and respond to client requests and inquiries, through written and oral communicationsWork with the client to develop, refine and maintain new processes, per the client’s specificationsFacilitate the return authorization process for product held in Company centers for return to supplierInitiate internal correspondence requiring action from other departmentsInitiate telephone calls and conference calls with internal and external contacts to clearly communicate informationDetermine appropriate reports to be used for ad hoc client requests

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma (or its equivalent) required1-3 years experience in in the logistics, manufacturing, trucking, or warehouse industry; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position requiredLegally authorized to work in the U.S.Proven interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to delegate and prioritize workBilingual a plus but not requiredCompetent with Microsoft Office and Google suites; experience using basic office equipmentAble to follow standard operation procedures and follow instructionsAble to work in an environment that is not climate controlledAble to work under time pressure and meet production goals; able to work more than 8 hours per day (over-time) as needed

At Inmar, compensation reflects our belief in integrity, transparency, and the value of individual contributions. The hiring pay rate for this position is: 

$15.30

Incremental pay increase are provided at 3 months and 12 months of employment. This is a non-exempt, hourly role eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state laws.

In addition to base hourly pay, eligible employees in this role may receive: 

Safety bonuses based on meeting defined performance and compliance requirements.

Shift differentials, where applicable(e.g. for evening or late shifts)
