We've had huge growth in our Welding Department in 2025!!! Looking to add several to our 2nd shift (limited 1st shift availability) 

We’re looking for MANUAL TUBE WELDERS that exhibit a strong work ethic, dependability and believes in our company values. A typical day for a tube welder is welding components onto tubes for variety of air filtration, exhaust, and other metal tubes used in a variety of industries. We're a job shop and you'll be working on variety off parts each day

 

1st shift - Monday- Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm (OT on Fridays, expect to work Fridays)

2nd shift - Monday - Thursday 4:20pm-2:50am (OT on Fridays, expect to work Fridays)

Responsibilities

We have some of the most state-of-the-art equipment and machines in the business.

 

 

What you will be doing as a MANUAL WELDER:

 

Using provided setup sheet operators verify correct filler metal is installed, changes filler as needed.

Adjusts weld gas flow per given wps instructions.

Sets up manual weld machine or downloads program per set up sheet instructions.

Verifies proper tooling is installed in the robot or staged in manual area.

Reviews weld requirements from weld prints (size, spacing, location, ECT).

Loads and locates parts into tooling per print and work instructions.

Welds part per customer provided prints.

Removes weld spatter and scale from finished parts.

May be required to remove material by grinding (metal finishing) using power tools and manually to meet customer specifications.

Performs quality checks per set up sheet.

Maintains welding equipment and sees that work area is orderly and clean.

Setup and operate robotic weld cells.

Required to rework parts up to customer specifications.

Qualifications

What it takes to be a MANUAL WELDER with MEC:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one-year related experience and/or training is preferred.

Ability to train, communicate, and work with others.

Ability to do basic math

Be able to lift and move 50 pounds

AWS certified or the ability to become AWS certified

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Displays ethical behavior and acts with integrity
