12 month FTC Internal Communications and Engagement Specialist - RBC BlueBay Asset Management

What is the opportunity?

This is 12 month FTC Maternity Cover.

The role is with RBC BlueBay, the investment management business of RBC Global Asset Management outside of North America.

You will implement and develop internal communications and engagement plans across EMEA APAC, ensuring RBC BlueBay’s employees remain informed on our corporate strategy. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive work culture, engaging our teams to strengthen connections to the business and to each other.

You will be required to work 4 days in the office minimum.

What will you do?

Own internal communications and employee engagement across RBC BlueBay

Manage communications from the Chief Executive Officer and act as trusted adviser to the wider leadership team

Work with Chief of Staff and Head of Global Institutional Marketing to build and maintain a culture strategy, reporting results, providing business updates and developing greater engagement around business strategy and objectives

Own the content and maintenance of the RBC BlueBay intranet

Provide communications guidance and best practice for any business change programmes to ensure a positive experience for employees

Manage employee events including two annual parties and regular town halls 

Act as secretary for the corporate responsibility committee, managing the monthly meeting agenda / minutes, producing the committee’s annual report and tracking its objectives throughout the year 

Lead representation and co-ordination of RBC Europe activities in

Work with colleagues across RBC’s network on initiatives affecting employees worldwide.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

Solid experience delivering best practice internal communications, within financial services

Track record in delivering employee engagement programmes that foster a positive culture and employee experience

Skilled writer with copywriting experience across a range of mediums

Self-starter with bags of motivation

Natural networker who builds strong relationships at all levels and enjoys working in a team

Highly organised with excellent project management skills

Sound judgement.

Nice to have

Interest in financial services and asset management.
