The purpose of this role is to generate increased sales volumes by ensuring all enquiries; leads and development opportunities are maximized through making appointments for field based sales colleagues and selling over the telephone where appropriate. Thereby ensuring an excellent sales experience for all existing and potential customers.
Requirements:
KEY WORK OUTPUTS and ACCOUNTABILITIES
Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and meet customers’ expectations Close and formalise deals between RI and customers with appropriate commercial arrangements. Develops a customer portfolio plan ensuring time is allocated across all customers in relation to their overall value to RI (Tier 3 Customers). Establishes a systematic course of action for self to ensure accomplishment of sales objectives and goals and determines priorities and allocates time and resources effectively. Develops and implements tactical plans with the sales manager in line with the company sales strategy for prospects and customers. Identifies and qualifies opportunities to sell new products or services and passes these to the appropriate salesperson where appropriate To ensure that all enquiries and leads are qualified and followed up To assist the field sales colleague to manage their time effectively by ensuring diary is maximised, up to date and accurate at all times To make quality appointments for the field sales colleagues from enquiries, leads and other sales opportunities Ensure all sales data and relevant records are kept up to date Uses the sales tools in line with the agreed sales process to maintain and develop pipeline and customer information. Increase conversion of sales against marketing driven campaigns and provide feedback on results. Attend and actively participate in monthly sales meetings To demonstrate ethical sales behaviour at all times, respecting the diversity of all colleagues/customers Ad Hoc duties as required to support the businessSKILLS and COMPETENCIES
Excellent communication skills Ability to identify and tele-appoint qualified customers Ability to develop strong and mutually beneficial customer relationships Determination and motivation to achieve new business targets Strong organisation skills to manage a sales territory effectively IT Literate Ability to perform well under pressure Ability to establish first contact with potential customersQUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
Valid driver’s licence Experience of dealing with people over the telephone in a sales situation Experience of qualifying leads Minimum 2yrs Previous telesales experience Proven experience of providing excellent customer service Proven experience of meeting targets Numerical acumen Computer literate Business acumen
