Responsibilities

May ride the bus to and from school with patient Address students medical needs to allow them to attend school in a traditional setting and make progress towards their educational goalsAssist with redirection of behaviors and ensure student safety Support students by reviewing and following their school IEP and BIPs Assistance with personal care activities such as toileting Takes and records oral and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when orderedAssists with mobility, positioning, transfers, and using transfer/mobility devices as applicable

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience acting as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferredAbility to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills preferredComputer proficiency preferredSuccessful completion of background screening and onboarding process requiredSuccessful completion of Maxim Orientation and Compliance training, and all other assigned trainings as applicable requiredSuccessful completion of Maxim’s Competency Program requiredProficiency in the English language requiredCurrent CNA certificate, as applicable per state
