SUMMARY
This role will be responsible tp provide guidance, instructions, directions, and leadership of individuals for the purpose of achieving the group’s performance and results. Responsible for monitoring the quantitave and qualitative achievements of the teamand reports the results to the supervisor/management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Leads and reinforces safety procedures and culture Ensures safety policies are being followed Facilitate and assists in team break schedules and daily tasks Ability to direct workflow of a manufacturing team. Ensures daily tasks are completed. Reports out team’s outcomes and conducts corrective action process to improve any inefficiencies. Works with new team members to train and complete all training requirements necessary Responsible for production data entry and reporting out. Mentor employees, work hands on and be capable of explaining quality concerns, daily tasks, and corrective actions. Performs additional duties as requested, needed, or assigned by management.
ABILITY TO
Read, write, and speak and understand in English and Spanish, to interpret documents such as specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, reports, business correspondence, regulatory and procedure manuals. Communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers, Supervisors and Managements. Work independently with little or no supervision and be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram record data or schedule form. Ability to follow specific written work instructions and record data and information. Physically able to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment – manual dexterity, visual acuity, and speed. Requires constant visual attention, ability to discern flaws in manufactured production.Effectively organize, set priorities, schedules assigned work; oversee multiple and rapidly changing priorities. Displays ability to work in highly productive, constantly changing environment. Effectively execute tasks. Exceptional work performance and attendance record. Solid leadership skills; able to lead by example; decision-maker and effective communicating. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (primarily Excel and Word) Strong communication skills, verbal and written. Project a strong, confident presence. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion, and attention to detail
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have basic mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or electrical skills Must have comprehensive understanding of mechanical tools to complete required machine tasksPHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequent hand, finger, and wrist movement to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Requires standing (80%) and walking (20%). Occasionally lift 50 pounds.
