Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Lead and coordinate all processes related to maintenance optimization through the use of the plant optimization methodology; In addition, all preventive maintenance services throughout the plant, with the focus on reducing wasted time with corrective maintenance, eliminating repetitive breakages through failure analysis. Develop, standardize and systematize predictive techniques to increase the reliability of our equipment.
•    Work effectively with the different work teams, focusing on the concept of a competitive business team, seeking common team goals, aligned with the company's commercial objectives, focused on people in the development of High Performance Teams. Coordinate the technical and administrative execution of utilities processes, using statistical tools (i.e. MTBF, MTTR, OEE) for monitor utilities results and trends, with a focus on continuous improvement.
•    Development of search teams, cost reduction, help in solving chronic problems of equipment and new technologies; Participate in the evaluation of the technical feasibility of changes and reforms, analyzing machinery and equipment and ensuring that all new equipment is in accordance with corporate requirements such as MSR, GMS, CTI and legal requirements, with the aim of obtaining continuous improvement of the safety, ergonomics, productivity, quality and maintainability.
•    Focus on internal, external and corporate audits to ensure systems are being followed to meet business requirements.

 

Main Responsibilities:
•    Follow-up of KPis of the utilities department.
•    Responsible for the Tribology and laboratory department of the entire machine, complying with the respective reliability programs, interpretate oil analysis and taking both preventive and corrective actions in any system of the machines throughout the plant.
•    Compliance of predictive maintenance programs (Thermographic analysis, alignment machines, catastrophic fail, oil analysis, Motors maintenance, vibration analysis, etc).
Monitoring of RCA and RCM2 methodologies in all machines, monitoring of critical and major equipment.
•    Follow-up of failure statistic, technical training and compliance with maintenance planners of efficiency and effectiveness of preventive maintenance.
•    Responsible for the Metrology Department of the entire plant, guaranteeing and complying with all corporate and local standards and associated equipment stoppages due to equipment and subsystem calibration, follow-up to the calibration schedule and audit attention.
•    Ensure the implementation and continuity of safety, quality, cost and productivity systems. Perform failure pattern analysis in order to find the root cause of the problem and complete an action plan for the addition of elements to ensure that it is not repeated.
•    Manage and coordinate the utilities cost, with the specialists and sub-owners of multiple accounts and areas; Technically support the maintenance of the plant, coordinating the execution of preventive and predictive maintenance works,
focusing on key performance indicators, seeking compliance with the indicators, within the objectives of the AOP.
•    Ensure the continuity of the guidelines of the Environmental Management System (EMS), IATF, OSHA 18000, ISO 14000, LA Audit.; Support engineering projects throughout the Team works, so that they follow established Standards and Procedures.

 

Education and Certification:
Engineering Degree in electrical, mechanical, Mechatronics, automation or control
Advance English knowledge (Read, Speak, Listen, Write)

 

Experience:
3+ years’ experience in engineering / utilities management in an industrial environment.  Experience working with multidisciplinary technical team members to achieve effective goals.  Equipment maintenance experience, along with maintenance planning, project engineering or project management role.  Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in problem solving techniques.  Intimate knowledge of maintenance best practices, preventive and predictive maintenance concepts.
