🔹 The Role: You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred services for children and young people who are looked after by the local authority. Working in line with social care legislation and guided by the values of dignity, empowerment, and inclusion, you’ll:
Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored care plansSupport children through care proceedings and permanency planningWork collaboratively with families and multi-agency professionalsMake informed decisions on the most appropriate interventionsHelp children thrive in safe, stable and nurturing environments
✅ What We’re Looking For: We're seeking a proactive, empathetic professional who is:
Registered with Social Work EnglandExperienced in working with children and families, including those in vulnerable circumstancesSkilled in Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), pre-proceedings and court workConfident in conducting Child & Family Assessments with strong analysis and planningKnowledgeable of safeguarding legislation and current best practicesAble to build strong, trust-based relationships with children and familiesCreative, flexible, and solution-focused in your approachCommitted to continuous learning and development🧰 Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Manage a defined caseload of children looked afterComplete robust assessments of risk and care needsDevelop and review personalised care and permanency plansUse clear, compassionate communication to engage children and familiesWork alongside multi-agency partners to ensure joined-up, holistic support💼 Why Join Through Pertemps?
