Job Overview:

Candidate is responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and ensure the quality of products and services. This role requires a keen understanding of market dynamics, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies: Identify and evaluate sourcing opportunities to drive cost savings and enhance supply chain efficiency.Supplier Management: Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet company standards for quality, delivery, and cost.Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed of industry trends, emerging suppliers, and market conditions.Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous terms for the company, including pricing, delivery, and service agreements.Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Operations, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and supplier performance.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the sourcing function and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Ability to analyze complex data and market trends.Proficiency in procurement software and tools.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Native Japanese speaker/business English level required

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
