Job Summary:
The main purpose of this position is to execute marketing strategy in order to achieve business objectives for all designated products within his/her assigned geographic area of responsibility. The representative will be responsible for achieving sales goals through execution of promotional campaigns, training of health care professionals and distribution channel management.
Major Responsibilities:
• Execute marketing strategy as defined by the Company including product launches, promotions, and special events; provide feedback to the Company on market trends and opportunities as appropriate.
• Provide input into the development of local marketing plans.
• Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets set forth by the Company.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as KOL’s, thought leaders, academic institutions, patient groups, etc.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor customer compliance with relevant regulations and the Company’s requirements.
• Manage distributors and wholesalers in the assigned territory to ensure they have an adequate supply of products and to resolve any issues related to the sale of products.
• Monitor and report competitive activity and market trends.
• Ensure that all customers are provided with accurate information regarding our products and their proper use.
• Organize and participate in congresses, symposia, and other scientific meetings as determined by the Company.
• Plan and execute promotional activities such as roundtable meetings, speaker programs, advisory boards, and investigator initiated studies.
Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in pharmaceutical sales required.
• Strong understanding of clinical trials and regulatory environment required.
• Previous experience working in Oncology preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate science to clinicians and patients.
• Ability to work independently and in teams required.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region (80-100% travel).
