The leader takes the medical lead and medical responsibility of specific Therapeutic Area. Serve as the TA expert, co-lead strategies for product launches and brands, and execute medical tactics. Manage a team of medical professionals, assign KPIs, and communicate market trends and unmet needs. Develop medical materials, ensure scientific accuracy, comply with SOPs, and conduct internal training. Create scientific interaction plans, enhance the company's external image, and map the treatment landscape for new programs. Lead or support medical studies, manage publications, and coordinate with various teams for research. Present local studies and share medical information. Interact with medical community members, represent the company at events, and foster partnerships. Collaborate internally and serve as a key interface for regional and global teams.
 
Your role:

Strategy: 
Serve as the local TA expert in specific Therapeutic Area, co-lead strategies for product launches and brands, and execute medical tactics. Manage a team of medical professionals, assign KPIs, and communicate market trends and unmet needs.
 
Operations:
•    Develop/review medical/marketing materials & training content, ensure product/brand scientific accuracy.
•    Comply with SOPs/trainings
•    Maintains up-to-date GxP knowledge by following internal and external trainings.
•    Deliver internal scientific training for local teams.
•    Create KTL scientific interaction plans.
•    Enhance external perception of company/products.
•    Drive operational excellence via best-practice sharing.
•    Plan/track TA-specific medical budgets.
  
Data & Scientific Communication: 
•    Lead/support medical studies (per study type), coordinate local clinical projects & assist in site selection.
•    Oversee publication processes, ensure dissemination aligns with local/regional/global plans.
•    Present/discuss local studies at internal review committee meetings.
•    Assimilate, process and share medical information with stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement: 
•    Support medical education program delivery.
•    Identify and interact with key external partners per territory regulations and metrics.
•    Represent the company at medical events and support patient advocacy.
•    Facilitate partnerships for innovative research and healthcare solutions.
•    Collaborate with internal teams (Medical, Clinical, Commercial) on cross-functional initiatives.
•    Serve as country liaison for TA Regional/Global Medical Teams
 
Talent Management and People Development
 
Who you are:

•    Advanced degree (MD, PhD, or equivalent) in relevant scientific field is required
•    Substantial professional, clinical or research experience in a scientific or related field is required (minimum of 5 years). 
•    Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in medical affairs, preferably within the pharmaceutical orbiotechnology industry.
•    Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, ensuring optimal research design, execution,analysis, and publication of scientific data.
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholdersand external partners.
•    Commitment to talent management and people development, fostering a high-impact culture withinthe medical affairs team.
