Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Assist in monitoring and maintaining product quality standards across the manufacturing process.Perform basic quality inspections, data collection, and reporting under supervision.Oversee daily quality control processes to ensure quality of final products meets customer’s expectations.Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities for non-conformities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and supply chain.Participate in internal audits, supplier evaluations, and customer audits as needed.Create, review, develop and maintain quality documentation such as work instructions, checklists, and reports.Support investigation and documentation of quality excursions, including containment, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) follow-up.Coordinate with cross-functional teams during new product introduction (NPI) to support reliability testing and product qualification activitiesAssist in preparing and executing reliability qualification plans under supervision, including data collection and reporting.Track and manage non-conforming material and support timely disposition and closure of quality issues.Maintain proper quality inventory records, including inspection tools, measurement devices, and quality hold materials.Support laboratory management, including basic lab testing activities, equipment calibration tracking, and cleanliness/safety compliance.Support cycle count and inventory health audits from a quality perspective.Ensure adherence to safety and cleanliness procedures in the quality lab.Aid in preparing quality reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for internal reviews or audits.Collaborate with engineering, production, and suppliers to ensure alignment with quality standards and continuous improvement goals.Driving and enforce compliance with relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or industry-specific standards).Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.Ensure compliance with ISO, IATF, or relevant industry quality standards.Qualifications
REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or equivalent field).PREFERRED:
Internship or industrial training experience in a quality-related role is an advantage.Good written and verbal communication skills.Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.Able to work independently and within a team.SKILLS:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Basic understanding of quality tools and concepts (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC, MSA) is a plus.Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
