The role Role Summary The Azure Data & AI BDE is responsible for driving strategic growth and customer engagement across Microsoft’s Data & AI portfolio. This includes identifying opportunities, shaping go-to-market strategies, and enabling adoption of Azure AI services, analytics platforms, and cloud-native applications. Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement & Opportunity Development Identify and qualify business opportunities for Azure Data & AI solutions, including Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Synapse, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric Go-To-Market Strategy Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to define commercial strategies, partnership models, and GTM plans tailored to Korea’s market Partner Enablement & Ecosystem Growth Build and nurture relationships with strategic partners, including ISVs and SIs, to expand the reach of Azure AI capabilities Solution Advisory & Innovation Lead envisioning sessions and workshops to help customers modernize applications and infuse AI into their business processes using Azure AI Studio, Cognitive Services, and Azure OpenAI Sales Execution & Pipeline Management Drive pipeline development and conversion for Azure Data & AI offerings, ensuring alignment with Microsoft-funded initiatives and SoftwareOne Korea’s sales targets What we need to see from you Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Expertise Strong understanding of Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI, AI Studio, Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning Familiarity with analytics platforms: Synapse, Databricks, Purview, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and application modernization Experience 5+ years in business development, solution sales, or partner management in the cloud or AI domain Proven success in driving customer adoption of cloud-based AI and analytics solutions Experience working with enterprise clients and managing complex sales cycles Certifications (Preferred) Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) Soft Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Strategic thinking and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions Fluent in Korean and proficient in English (plus point) Job Function Sales
