Job Description

As a vital member of our support team, you'll provide round-the-clock assistance, guaranteeing uninterrupted service and swift issue resolution. Dive into the heart of our operations with 2nd level application support, addressing customer-reported issues and requests with precision and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

24/7 Support: Provide continuous support for workload automation applications, ensuring uninterrupted service and timely issue resolution.Application Support: Offer 2nd level application support for customer-reported issues and requests, delivering expert solutions and guidance.Troubleshooting: Perform in-depth troubleshooting to resolve reported issues and requests based on key performance indicators (KPIs). Document solutions meticulously to enrich our reusable solution database.Daily Operations: Engage in daily operational tasks, including monitoring system performance, troubleshooting errors, and implementing corrections to maintain optimal functionality.Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence by implementing continuous improvement initiatives aligned with industry best practices.Collaboration: Coordinate with various application teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.Customer Support: Handle support queries from customers, providing timely and accurate responses to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Issue Escalation: Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams as needed and diligently track them through to resolution.Ticket Management: Utilize BMC Remedy SMT for efficient ticket handling and query management, ensuring all issues are logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.Compliance: Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and delivery timelines to meet organizational goals.Global Collaboration: Work effectively with global teams, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a rotational 24/7 support schedule.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Arts or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.0 to 2 years of experience in IT systems support or related fields.Basic understanding and experience with workload automation applications isadvantageous.Familiarity with ITIL service management processes is a plus.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work well within a team and across global teams.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality support services.Ability to manage workload effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Basic understating on what is SAP, Windows & Unix serverGood analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues.Work experience in incident management support tool like BMC Remedy,Service Now.
