Job Description

ICA*: Integrated Calibration Application

ETAS-ICA is providing software calibration solutions to advanced automotive clients and an ETAS-ICA field application engineer has key responsibilities as:

 

The primary technical liaison between ETAS-ICA and our automotive clients, providing expert advice and support on software calibration projects.Assist clients in the integration of ETAS-ICA solutions into their automotive system, ensuring their SOFTWARE calibration performance.Conduct on-site or virtual technical presentations and demonstrations to clients, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of ETAS-ICA SOFTWARE/HW products.Collaborate with ETAS-ICA product development team to relay customer feedback and requirements, contributing to the enhancement of product features and the development of new solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered by clients, providing timely and effective solutions.Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in automotive software calibration technology, sharing insights with both clients and the internal team to foster innovation.Provide training and documentation to clients on the use and maintenance of ETAS-ICA software products.Participate in trade shows, conferences, and workshops, representing ETAS-ICA and its software/hardware solutions to the automotive industry.

QualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field.Proven experience in engineering or technical support within the automotive software development / calibration.Good understanding of automotive systems and software, including familiarity with calibration engineering process.Proficiency in programming languages relevant to automotive software development, such as C, C++, Python. (Preferred)Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).Familiarity with simulation and modeling tools (MATLAB/Simulink) (Preferred).Good problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.Willingness to travel to client sites as required.English communication and no limit to oversee travel.
