Job Description

ICA*: Integrated Calibration Application

ETAS-ICA is providing software calibration solutions to advanced automotive customers, and an ETAS-ICA field application engineer has key responsibilities as:

 

The primary technical liaison between ETAS-ICA and our automotive customers, providing expert advice and support on software calibration projects.Conduct detailed technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.Conduct project engineering with ETAS ICA solutions and provide the project deliverables.Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for ETAS ICA solutions.Work closely with customers to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.Collaborate with product management and development team at ETAS headquarter to provide feedback and suggest improvements to ETAS ICA products and solutions.Prepare and deliver training sessions for customers on ETAS ICA products and solutions

QualificationsNative written and spoken Korean strongly required to support Korean customers locally.  Fluency in written and spoken English.Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.Proven experience (2+ years) in engineering or technical support within the automotive embedded system development.Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).Experience in system or components development in Vehicle Powertrain (ICE, HEV, EV) (Preferred).Proficiency in programming languages relevant to automotive software development, such as C, C++, Python(Preferred).Familiarity with simulation and modeling tools (MATLAB/Simulink) (Preferred).Good problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.Willingness to travel to customers sites as required.No limit to overseas travel.
